Camp Lewallen ... Boy Scouts USA!

This is a site for anyone who went to or are going to Camp Lewallen for any type of campout.

Are you ready for a great summer at camp? Camp Lewallen is waiting for you with more activities than you could possibly do in a week.

Since 1936 Camp Lewallen has been a Scouting paradise. Our 580 acres include the Earl Jarvis Dining Hall, the towering Mount Logan, Scoutcraft, nature and voyageur areas. Our Trading Post overlooks the pool for you to relax and have a snack. At the shooting sports area, you will have the chance to shoot a shotgun, .22 rifle and bow and arrow. At Lake Potashnik, you can canoe, row, fish and kayak.

In 2006 we had two new buildings. The Dr. James A. Kinder Medical Lodge and the Jack Ward Memorial Office have just been completed.

We have 10 different campsites, and your troop will camp on one of them.

You'll be able to swim twice a day and earn a few of the 25 different merit badges we offer. We will have campfires, a water carnival, archery and rifle competitions, the Mile Swim and the Order of the Arrow Call-out. You can hike through the woods and through the creek. Keep an eye out for the wildlife, turtles, snakes, raccoons, deer and more.

Monday night will be the new "Scout Challenge". Patrols will take part in a wild scavenger hunt. then on Tuesday night will be "Campwide Games". The games will include ultimate frisbee, basketball, and wiffle ball.

So get ready! Take a look at all the fun that happens...and Be Prepared!
